Hope you can help ?we purchased a Sid Cahuenga’s 1956 movie poster the Ten Commandments ! We got it at Disney . It was also signed by Charlton Heston ! My question is if Sid only dealt with “original” posters ?

Hi, Jim! Actually the original “Sid Cahuenga” was my long time friend Al Arasim—an actor from Minneapolis. He appeared on the FRONT PAGE of USA Today the week Disney-MGM Studios opened. I designed the Sid character with Al in mind, I called him in advance of the Imagineering?Disney Entertainment auditioning tour hitting Minneapolis and ask Al to come, wear a Hawaiian shirt and a straw hat. The other directors and Ronnie Rodriguez (Talent Coordinator fro WDW) went CRAZY when they saw him. At first, Al and I pretended not to know each other. He was PERFECT in the role. Meanwhile, Danny Dillon held forth in the Backlot Break area, singing old show tunes in a pinstripe suit and straw “boater” hat (a la Dapper Dans.) Danny was also a huge talent and great “get.”
