I do, but one step into the Cabana Bay Beach Resort and I felt like I was back in OLD Miami Beach. The Miami I used to visit as a child when I d go see my grandmother. I was instantly filled with memories of Esther Williams, slinkies, and little polka dot bikinis. With it s cat-walked buildings, and names reminiscent of hotels in the 50 s and 60 s, Cabana Bay Beach Resort is that POP of color, in an otherwise muted hotel scene. It s about time that someone realized how HIP Bauhaus really is .thank you Loew s!

Hi Dave, really informative site, thanks so much. I recently won 3 nights at Cabana Bay Beach Resort and we decided to extend our trip and take the whole family down (kids will be almost 3 and 5 when we plan to go in September 18-15). We’re going to stay our 3 nights the first weekend, then head over to Magic Kingdom (narrowed it down to Port Orleans-Riverside and Coronado Springs – your recommendation is welcome!). Is there a way to get from Universal to MK? Included in our winnings, we’ll have transportation from the airport to Cabana Bay Beach Resort, but haven’t figured out how to get to MK from US. We do not want to rent a car. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated. Hoping for low crowds and lower temps 😉 (wishful thinking I know). Thanks!

Thanks so much for including this Universal Orlando resort review. I have only heard great things about Cabana Bay. Everyone that goes just adores it. As great as it is, I would still recommend upgrading to Royal Pacific. Deluxe resort with the FREE Unlimited Express ride pass. A better value all in all.
