Hi I will be staying at the animal kingdom lodge this year from 11/28-12/3. This is our families first visit to Disney world ! We booked a savannah view room (not Arusha) When it’s time for check in requests we wanna be able to get the best view of the animals what should I request sunset savanna / kudu trail? Thanks for any recommendations!

Kristy, just for views, I’d pick Sunset. But for the combination of views and convenience to the pools, dining, etc, Uzima and “Close to lobby”

Kate, check the box for “Highest Floor” on the on-line form that’s similar to the one at the end of this page https://yourfirstvisit.net/2014/04/08/review-disneys-animal-kingdom-lodge-jambo-house/(the very highest floors are concierge and DVC rooms, so this will put you in the sweet spot!)

We are planning our first trip in Nivember and staying at AKL, so thank you for all of this information. It added to our excitement! My question is–for the online check-in form, what should we click/request to try to get the best 3rd/4th floor rooms you suggest? Are there tricks to what boxes to click to try to ensure those rooms? Thank you!
