(Note: this is from the Saturday arrival seven night version of the 2017 Basic December Itinerary. The itinerary works only for the four weeks beginning the Saturday after Thanksgiving 2017.)
MAGIC KINGDOM DAY 3: SATURDAY AGENDA
Today you spend the morning completing your visit to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and then depart for home. You have no scheduled meals.
You should have FastPass+ for for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan’s Flight, and the Haunted Mansion.
MORNING
- Check out and note your instructions for Disney’s Magical Express if you are using it. If you aren’t, for many domestic airlines you’ll be able to check bags and print boarding passes near the front desk. This is a tip-based service. You can also store your bags at the bell stand
- Arrive at Magic Kingdom by 45 minutes before open
AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM
- See one longer or two shorter of your favorite rides so far, noting your FP+ time for the Mine Train
- Go to Fantasyland and see Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with FastPass+
- Head into Storybook Circus at the back of Fantasyland and ride Dumbo, and if it looks like fun, Barnstormer
- Come back on the other side of the Mine Train and ride Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid
- Head towards the Castle and balance your return time for Peter Pan’s FLight (FastPass+) with Mickey’s Philharmagic and it’s a small world
- Take the path between Peter Pan and it’s a small world to Liberty Square and see Haunted Mansion (FastPass+)
- If you have time before you have to leave, look for a fourth FastPass+ on your phone and return to a ride

Hello Dave,
I’m planing a trip for Dec 1-8. Unless better flights open up, our first and last days will be consumed with travel. Looking for modified daily itinerary that also (unfotunately) will not include MVMCP.
We are a group of 6.
3 adults who have been to Disney many years ago and three ‘first timer’ children. Ages 5, 5 and 8 years.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have.
Hi Lisa, on the site I don’t have good material for either shorter trips or kids younger than 8. However, you can find advice for both it in my book.
