New Disney World Room Rate Deal for May 1–October 4, 2026
By Dave Shute
NEW DISNEY WORLD DEAL FOR MAY TO EARLY OCTOBER 2026
Walt Disney World has released a room rate deal for “most nights” May 1 through October 4 offering savings off hotel list prices of 10% to 30%.
Savings vary not only by hotel but also by length of stay. Stays four nights or shorter save 5% less per night than stays 5 nights or longer.
Note that this creates particular value for five night stays, as the fifth night, in addition to the overall discount level, creates 4 nights worth of 5% discount. For example, at a 20% discount, four nights at a $350/night room will save you a total of $280, but you save $438 dollars for a five night stay at 25% off.
Generally, more expensive rooms see better absolute dollar savings–they have both higher prices and higher discount levels.
SAVINGS OF 25% TO 30%/NIGHT
The largest savings are largely at a subset of DVC and deluxe options.
SAVINGS OF 20% TO 25%/NIGHT
The other deluxes and DVCs, plus most of the moderates and All-Star Sports, see the next level of discounts.
SAVINGS OF 15% TO 20%/NIGHT
The rest of the values (except Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation), campsites, and moderate Port Orleans French Quarter have the the next level of potential savings.
SAVINGS OF 10% TO 15%/NIGHT
Lowest savings are for Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation.
OTHER POINTS TO PONDER
Those using this deal are also eligible for the previously released Free Dining for Kids deal, which can save you on the order of another $25-$30 per kid per night.
At the same time as this percentage-off deal came out, Disney also released a “buy four or more get two free” deal that applies not only to hotel rooms but also to park tickets, covering many of the same dates–late May through mid-September. This deal also can be combined with the Free Dining for Kids deal. This may be a better deal for some families, so price out both.
