2017 Disney World Packages Now Available For Booking

By Dave Shute

Disney World has released its hotel prices for 2017 and made the year available for booking!

I’ve spent most of today updating the 2017 price seasons (image below) and also gathering the data to analyze 2017 price changes.  I still have to re-check my analyses, but so far I am seeing many lower increases than last year, especially at the deluxes.

Thanks for the great work!

We’ve booked a week at The Polynesian Village on 2/5/2017. We’ve never been in February and hoping it will be a good time to go, the prices certainly can’t be beat!

Great prices at the Poly in 2017, Scott!

Hi Dave – we are planning our second trip to Disney the week of Feb 4th, 2017. At our first visit we did the Water Park and More Option and our kids had a blast at Blizzard Beach. This time they are asking to also go to Typhoon Lagoon. I’ve been looking at several resorts and something that has been confusing me – when you select your dates on the Disney website, they first automatically assign you a park ticket equal to the number of nights you are staying – in our case 9 nights. With 2 days planned for water parks, I have been changing this to a 5-day park ticket and adding on the water park and more option. HOwever, this comes out at a higher price than the original 9-day park ticket! This doesn’t make sense to me and I don’t believe this was the case at our first visit in 2015. Can the park ticket days be used at the water parks, cause the way this looks to me, it is currently the cheaper way to go! Thanks Dave, Amy

Amy, the incremental cost per day on longer tickets is quite low. As a result, the price difference between a 9 day and a 5 day ticket is around $55, which is less than the cost of the water park and more option. See this. And no, sorry, you can’t use a park day at a water park…
