Disney World FastPass+ Lower Crowd Itinerary, 6 Night Version
By Dave Shute
This itinerary will be retired for 2017, as with additions at the Animal Kingdom it is too short.
Below is a six night variant of my updated FastPass+ based Disney World itinerary for lower crowd weeks.
It does not work all dates, and some dates that it mostly works it may need some little adjustments.
Check your week here. If the eight night lower crowd itinerary works unchanged, then so will this. If I indicate on the linked page required changes to the eight night itinerary, then use the comment form below to ask about your week.
This six night variant does a great job of covering the parks, at the expense of almost all your time off. The seven and eight night options are much better choices.
The recommended FastPass+ that make it work are in the To-Do List, so you can book them at the 60 day window for FastPass+ sign-ups. Daily agendas are in the links:

Hi. Visiting Jan 28 – Feb 4, with 6 days in park. Puzzling over EMH’s. Do we take advantage of? Heard EMH’s mean bigger park crowds and longer lines – but with the already shorter days of off-peak season, the extra hours could mean getting a lot more done?? Currently have Fri at HS, followed by AK, MK, day off, Epcot, MK, MK (taking adv. of extra hours), Wondering if better off, however with Fri Epcot, then AK, MK, HS, MK, OFF, MK or something else? Managed to get sought after reservations for Sunday at MK, so want to keep that one and our last day on trip at MK.
Kari, the extra crowds typically more than counterbalance the EMH, even with the shorter hours, unless you have park hopper tickets, and can hop to non-EMH parks.
Thanks so much for the great information on your site! We are planning a 6 night trip 4/10/16 – 4/16/16 with 3 kids (ages 9, 6, 4). How would you recommend adapting this 6 night itinerary for a Sunday arrival?
Kevin, my itineraries are tied to actual operating patters– so “Monday” means Monday, not “Day 1” and also a recommended sequence for seeing the parks. Moreover they are designed for kids 8 and older. For all three reasons they don’t flex well.
Chapter 6 of my book shows how to pick park days and includes park touring plans for younger kids. So that’s your best bet.
Can you please recommend an itinerary for a six-night stay beginning August 13, 2016? Many thanks for your help!
Jessica, how old are the kids?
Kids ages 7-9. Thank you!
Ok Jessica at that age you want a couple of days at MK, a day each at the three other parks, and to then return to your favorite on your last day.
8/13 avoid AK and MK
8/14 avoid HS
8/15 avoid MK and AK
8/16 avoid Epcot
8/17 avoid MK
8/17 avoid Epcot
Would this work for a trip from September 17th t0 22nd 2016?
Eliza, no. These itineraries are designed for specific days–Monday means Monday, not “Day 1.” Your best bet is to build your itinerary based on the guidance in Chapter 6 of my book.
We are checking in on October 1 and checking out on October 8th. So the game plan is to do 6 days at the parks. Our kids are 5 and 9. Will this 6 day plan work for that week?
Kristin if you start your park days Monday Oct. 3 it will work.
