I took this comment out, as the one below is a much better answer than mine was!

The policy of Disney is the age you are on the day of check in is how old you are considered for the duration of the trip. We have had the child (age 9) to adult (age 10) per Disney happen while on vacation so I wasn’t sure which ticket to buy child or adult. They told me child was fine since the age was 9 at check in.

Thanks!!!

I’ve given Mrs. Miller a heads up that you have a better answer than mine!

I know the resorts have “price seasons” but does the Magic your way Ticket prices change too? I could have shown last week (3) 6 day passes with park hopper we $815, now they are $865. Maybe I was seeing things?

Nevermind… had I clicked just one more link I would have found it!
http://yourfirstvisit.net/2010/02/14/walt-disney-world-admission-ticket-prices-2010/ FYI, your site saved me almost $1600 this year! AND I’m bringing 6 more family members than usual! I’ll take the credit from them, but you know it’s all owed to you. Thanks Dave for this great unbiased info site!

Steve–no price seasons for tix, though they usually go up in August. Disney often shows the initial price pre-tax, and a later price with tax. Maybe that happened?

That’s great!! Tell your thousand closest friends about the site…but not your family!!!

Have you ever stayed at the Disney Swan or Dolphin. Can’t decide between one of those or the Caribbean. 2 young adults (20′s) no children.

I haven’t stayed at either the Swan or the Dolphin yet…), buut both seem equally well-liked by sources I trust.

For people in their 20s of your choices I’d pick one of these two over the Carribean Beach–they have more dining and bars options, plus even more dining and bars in the nearby WDW Epcot hotels and Boardwalk! Plus more dining and bars in Epcot itself…can u tell I need a drink…

We are planning a trip for this December 16-19th and trying to figure out the best way to do this. My daughter will be 6 at time. Which parks to visit and where to stay. Dont really want to spend that much money! This will be her first time in disney and i really would like for her to visit Magic kingdom and dont know what else in such a short time. And also wondering if i should book everything separate or all together. HEllllppp

12 chiquina { 10.10.11 at 2:01 pm }

i forgot that add that it will be three of us. i went to priceline and the price i got for everything was 1674.90. booking separate it was 559 for flight 213.00 for hotel and 150. for rental care and 300 for tickets

13 Dave { 10.10.11 at 2:44 pm }

Hi at her age and looking to save money the Magic Kingdom is enuf–two to three days worth. The other three theme parks are great for older kids and have some stuff for 6 year olds, but I’d save them for her next trip!

14 Dave { 10.10.11 at 2:44 pm }

tickets don’t look right–how many days worth did you price, and how old is the third person?
