Overseas Offer Hints at Disney World General Public Fall Room-Only Discount

By Dave Shute

DISNEY WORLD DEAL FOR 9/29 TO 12/23/2013

Disney World Fall 2013 Room-Only Discount from yourfirstvisit.netThe “Mysterious J” forwarded me the following info about a Fall Disney World room-only discount that will go live in South America and Europe on August 1.

This deal will likely open to the worldwide general public then or shortly after, perhaps with slightly different details.

The discount covers stays from September 29 through December 23, 2013, and needs to be booked by November 15.

The deal is unavailable November 23-November 29, and as usual in recent discounts, Art of Animation Little Mermaid rooms and Grand Villas are excluded.

Discount levels off standard (“rack”) rates are as follows:

Offers like these have been pretty close to general public offers available to US residents, although the specifics, exclusions and fine print may be different…for example, several resorts like POFQ are often only nominally in these deals, with savings of 5% or so.

Wow thank you! Do you know if the Poly is included at 35% off too?

Looks like no free dining?

4 Dave { 07.25.13 at 8:28 am }

Kevin, both deals should come out at the same time. See this: https://yourfirstvisit.net/2013/07/15/disney-world-free-dining-for-the-general-public-to-come-out-in-early-august/

The free dinning seems unlikely, now……. 25% off AoA suites will be great though

6 Dave { 07.25.13 at 9:19 am }

Eddie–I do expect both these deals to come out at the same time–free dining and room-only…

Oh I hope so! We have a check in date of 12/1 at POR – Royal Rooms. Does it cover those too, do you know? Didn’t know if there would be those sort of exclusions.

Angela, we won’t know for sure til the deal comes out…

Can we still get the deal if we have already booked in dec?

10 Dave { 07.26.13 at 7:40 am }

Yes, Jared, once it’s out, just call Disney and they can re-book you into the deal.

Dave, any info on where WL falls. I know sometimes it gets bumped to a lower % than other deluxes, sometimes not. If 30% or 35%, we’ll take it over FD.

Hi Mike, we won’t know any of these details til the deal is actually out…

Will this RO discount likely cover that entire time period, or will it be specific weeks such as the dates in the rumored free dining post? Thanks!

14 Dave { 07.26.13 at 7:41 am }

Kathleen, it’ll likely cover the whole period, but we won’t know for sure til it’s actually out, and all the fine print is revealed!!

Hey Dave – I’m wondering about the RO discount for December and Disney visa card holder date to be notified 2 days before general public – I’m reading about a lot of people preparing to call in first thing Monday morning from Disboard forum – BUT I have not gotten any notification of any discount from my Disney card to do this….my Disney travel agent has not been given the go ahead either – Do we just call? As you know I have been bugging you for about 9 months about this – and I WANT A DISCOUNT 🙂 I don’t want to miss out on this PLEASE HELP – thank you for all of your GREAT ADVICE!!!!!
Once this is taken care of I just need to sit back and wait for December – all of my other stuff is booked….:)

Hi Rhonda, you won’t get a notification that I know of. See this for what to do: https://yourfirstvisit.net/2013/07/24/three-things-you-need-to-know-about-free-dining/#comment-399113

Hey Dave:

If FD does come out on 8.1 (crossing my fingers) as well as a RO, do you any suggestions on the best way to figure out which deal is going to work best. I want to be ready since I am going to have to change my reservation from AoA LM to get FD or RO.

20 Dave { 07.29.13 at 6:40 am }

Kimberly, the easiest way to do it is to ask the reservationist on the phone to run it both ways.

If you wanna do the math yourself, I have couple of post on disboards that might help:

So if the hotel I want has no availability now then there is no chance of a discount at that resort – I will need to pick a different resort? Or are there rooms set aside?

22 Dave { 08.01.13 at 8:02 am }

Julie all you can do is call and try!
