I’m taking my two boys (10 & 6 y.o.) next week (May 8 through May 14, 2023) to Universal Studios (lodging there for my husband’s conference) & Walt Disney World. Do you have the details available for that week? (operating hours, parade times, etc.) This will be my kid’s first time going, so I want to get in as much as possible. They also, mentioned wanting to go to the water parks…. (I am starting from scratch on my Disney research and am feeling overwhelmed trying to pull together an itinerary!) So, any help from you is deeply appreciated! 😉
Jessie, I will put a similar page up Thursday or Friday, but you can find most of the essentials here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/calendars/five-day/#/animal-kingdom,hollywood-studios,epcot,magic-kingdom/
The critical thing is that you need to MAKE PARK RESERVATIONS ASAP–and you can only do that AFTER you have purchased tickets. For tickets see this https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/admission/tickets/ and then for reservations see this https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/availability-calendar/?segments=tickets,resort&defaultSegment=tickets
Note you have to do both: get tickets, AND get reservations.
I have nine day itineraries but that won’t much help you. See this for an overview of the four parks: https://yourfirstvisit.net/2022/04/03/the-basics-visiting-the-disney-world-theme-parks-and-genie/
If you have just one or two days at Disney spend both at Magic Kingdom. If you have 5 days, spend two at Magic Kingdom and one each at each of the other three parks. If you have 3 or 4 days, use the link just above to figure out how to spend days 3/4.
