Disney Visa Offer Says New Disney World Discount for Early 2013 Will be Out October 10

By Dave Shute

2013 DISNEY DEALS TO BE RELEASED OCTOBER 10?

Update 10/10: This discount is now availablesee this.

Crack commenters Jake and Scott have noted that the Disney Visa site says that a deal for Disney World for stays most nights January 2 through March 7 2013 will be released on October 10.

The Disney Visa offers include a package deal and a room rate deal.

Only the Disney Visa package deal refers to a general public deal. Specifically, it says

“Take advantage of this advanced booking offer from October 4-7 before it becomes available to the general public on October 10, 2012.”

So it may be that just the package deal is released on October 10…or, of course, this may just be fubar…

See below for images of each deal.

Hi, I have seen the extremely helpful info on your page about the winter January 2014 discount. Do you happen to have the previous couple of years with the same info? I also have the Disney visa, so I would be interested in what those specials are for that time was well. I found this thread, but I think the graphic cut off in the deluxe villa section. We are coming in January 2015 and I am trying to decide what would be a bigger discount, renting dvc points or waiting around until October to see what the January special will be. We want to stay at BLT in a 1 bedroom villa. Thank you in advance for all your help!

Hi Megan! I might have such–I’m not consistent–but more to the point, I have yet to see BLT with more than a 5% discount…it’s just too popular…

Oh okay, well that’s all I needed to know then. Thank you so much! I think I’ll go with the point rental. Have you ever done that? If so, how was your experience? I’m looking at a popular rental company who’s website says they are endorsed by the BBB, so that makes me feel okay about it.
