Required Itinerary and To-Do List Changes for October 2010

October has a wildly different pattern of Extra Magic Hours caused by Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, a special evening event–with its own ticket. 

Because of these changes, both the standard Autumn-Winter-Spring itinerary and its To-Do List needs to be adjusted every single week this month.

REQUIRED CHANGES BY ARRIVAL DATE

Itinerary changes are about what you do in the parks; To-Do List changes are about when you reserve stuff.

So if the weekly guidance says “Swap Wednesday and Friday,” that means both do Wednesday’s stuff on Friday, and vice-versa, and also make the reservations indicated in the To-Do List for Friday for Wednesday instead.

• September 25: Swap Wednesday and Friday in both your itinerary and in your To-Do List–that is, do Epcot on Wednesday, not Friday, and do what the itinerary and To-Do List note as Wednesday stuff on Friday instead
• October 2:On Sunday, do what your itinerary and To-Do List show as Monday during the day, and Sunday evening. (In other words, leave Sunday evening as is, but swap the day with Monday. Skip the reservation for Prime Time Cafe altogether.) Feel free to stay later Sunday than the itinerary suggest.s Do Monday as Sunday during the day is written, but begin one hour earlier. Swap Wednesday and Friday
• October 9: Buy tickets for one additional  day.  In both your itinerary and To-Do List, swap Sunday night and Thursday night, and swap Wednesday and Friday.
• October 16: In both your itinerary and To-Do List swap Sunday night and Monday night and swap Wednesday and Friday.
• October 23: On Sunday, do what your itinerary and To-Do List show as Monday during the day, and Sunday evening. Feel free to stay later Sunday than the itinerary suggests. (In other words, leave Sunday evening as is, but swap the day with Monday.) Do Monday as Sunday during the day is written, but begin one hour earlier. Skip the Prime Time Cafe reservation. Swap Wednesday and Friday

 

• Alternate for October 2nd and October 23rd arrival dates (thanks to David for the germ of this change): Do Sunday during the day as is.  Head to the Studios and skip Fantasmic, enjoying other rides later into the evening than the itinerary suggests instead.  Do Monday during the day as is, but leave the park after dinner. See Fantasmic on Thursday night.
