Thursday: Seven Night Walt Disney World Summer Itinerary

THURSDAY AGENDA

This morning you will finish off the Animal Kingdom. You have a short break in the afternoon, then return to the Animal Kingdom, and from there head to Downtown Disney in the evening to see Cirque du Soleil’s spectacular show La Nouba.

You need to be at your hotel bus stop by 7:20a.

FIRST THINGS

Get up early and have breakfast in your room

Be at your hotels’ bus stop by 7:20 am, and catch the bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom

AT THE PARK: MORNING

• Be at the park by 8
• At opening, head to Expedition Everest. Fastpass it, then ride it
• Go into Dinoland and ride (in order) Dinosaur, Triceratops Spin, and Primeval Whirl
• Use your fastpass to ride Expedition Everest again
• Head for Africa and fastpass Kilimanjaro Safaris. You will be returning later today, so your fastpass return can be late
• See any shows or rides that you missed on Monday or just haven’t seen yet. If you end up missing the train/Conservation Station, don’t worry
• Have lunch at the Flame Tree Barbecue (counter credit) before 11 or after 1
• Head back to your hotel when you are ready—you are off until you need to be at your hotel’s bus stop by 2.25p
• Be back at the Animal Kingdom by 3.15p
• Use a map to check the parade route and whatever rides or shows you have missed or want to see again. Find a spot to watch the parade near what you want to do after it.
• Watch the 3.45p parade
• Finish up in the park until you are ready to head to Downtown Disney. You need to be heading that way by 5.45p
• By 5.45p, be back at the bus area and take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. From there take a bus to Downtown Disney. (You have to do this because the buses do not run non-stop between the theme parks and Downtown Disney).
• Ask the Downtown Disney bus driver which stop to get off for Planet Hollywood, get off there, and enjoy your 7.15 dinner (cash)
• After dinner, get a map, and find Cirque du Soleil. If it is 8:30p or later, enter and find your seats. If earlier, explore DTD a bit, being sure to be inside Cirque du Soleil by 8:30p
• After the show, spend as much time in DTD as you like, and when you are ready, use your map to find the closest bus stop and take the bus back to your hotel
