DISNEY WORLD ROOM RATE DEAL
A new Disney World room rate deal covering most arrival dates from October 4 through December 23 2015 was released today. (November 25-27 is excluded.)
This deal has
- Value resorts (except Art of Animation Little Mermaid rooms, which are excluded) at 10-15% off depending on the date
- Moderates at 15-20% off depending on the date (no moderates are excluded)
- Deluxes at a complex variety of discounts ranging from 10 to 25% off, depending on the hotel, the room type, and the date
- DVC resorts at 20-30% off, excluding Bay Lake Tower, the Villas at the Grand Floridian, and the Polynesian Villas and Bungalows

If I have already booked my rooms (Polynesian 10/17-24), can I call and ask for the discount on my remaining balance (which is due in approximately 2 weeks)? I see that it is a 10-15% discount for those dates.

Kelly, it can’t hurt to call and try.
Discounts aren’t really applied to current reservations. They are applied to a new reservation, and your old one is cancelled. So there has to be a similar room still available in the block of rooms that the Poly assigned to the deal. The more expesnvie your room type (e.g. theme park view) the more likely there might be a room.

I see 11/12-22 are blacked out at the Values. When the AP discounts come out, will they likely have the same date exclusions?
