BTW, by purchasing onsite, I mean she’ll buy them when we arrive at POR on Sunday.

We’ll be at the POR starting on April 6. My mother will be with us the first couple of days but not on the reservation on the advice of the Disney Travel folks (otherwise we’d wind up paying for days she wasn’t there, but they said she’ll still be considered a property guest since she’ll be staying in our room), and will be purchasing her park tickets/magic band onsite. We’re arriving on Sunday, hitting AK on Monday and Epcot on Tuesday, but how far in advance can we make her FastPass+ reservations? I made them for my son and me AGES ago; do you think there’s even a remote possibility we’ll be able to get hers to match?

Jennifer, if she’s not booked in the room, she won’t get a magic band, and won’t be able to do her FP+ until the day of use, in the park. So far I’ve had pretty good luck getting close enuf return times–e.g. 2 out 3 fastpass+. This will work better if your reserved FP+ times are for late in the day.
