Be Our Guest Phone Reservations Begin 7a EST 8/20, Online 8/22

Updated 8/17–Disney has changed the opening of phone reservations on 8/20 to 7a from noon.
BE OUR GUEST RESERVATIONS WILL OPEN NEXT WEEK
The new restaurant opening as part of Disney World’s Fantasyland Expansion, will open booking next week.
- Phone reservations will begin at 7a Monday 8/20
- Online reservations will begin Wednesday 8/22 (my birthday!)

“Dinner reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant may be booked beginning at seven a.m. eastern on Monday, Aug. 20. The first available dinner will be for Monday, Nov. 19.
Reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE, or visiting any Guest Relations theme park location or Guest Services desk at a resort.
Online reservations will be available beginning Aug. 22 by visiting http://www.disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining.”

Hello, again! Any chance of seeing a soft opening for Be Our Guest prior to November? Perhaps just the quick-service? Thanks for all your valuable information!

Dave. We will depart 11/17, so just miss BoG ADRs. Don’t most Disney restaurants have walk-in soft openings for at least a few days before the formal opening? Hope so.
Hey Mike, there will be “Cast Member Previews,” –although it’s not been announced when. This makes me a little hopeful that there may be a soft opening before the 19th…

Apparently the soft opening date has been changed to 11-11-12. Guests need to be aware that because it is a soft opening date that any date or details can change anytime.
DO NOT book this over the automated system, the system won’t take your CC and the reservation WILL CANCEL overnight without a credit card attached. YOU MUST speak to an agent to book this res until 8-22-12!!!

If you couldn’t get a res today please call back tomorrow at 7:00am to try and get one of those HUNDREDS of reservations that will automatically cancel overnight.
Been trying since phone lines opened this morning at 6am cst. Nothing but busy signal or “we’re sorry, all circiuts are busy now.” I FINALLY got through but am now on hold as my first option was not available.

Looks like Disney is making an exemption for automated reservations today. Sucks for me but I guess it’s a good thing as that wouldn’t have been fair to all those that made reservations. We’ll have to try it out for lunch and come back on another trip and get a reservation.

Yeah, Amy, if true–and I saw a lot yesterday evening suggesting it is–it does stink for you, but is also the correct thing for them to do…
I am so looking forward to this addition of Be Our Guest at the Magic Kingdom. It is well needed. Most of the dining locations inside the Magic Kingdom are on the smaller side with less seating, with the exception of the Crystal Palace. So this will be fantastic!
Me too, Dawn…and I’m not so keen on a couple of the other MK table service options, so I think this is gonna be a huge hit!
I am curious if anyone was able to book dinner reservations for BE OUR GUEST at a time other than 4:00 to 5:30? When I checked online it states that dinner is only from 4:00 to 5:30. Is that correct? I was one of those people on Monday, 8-20-12 who was hitting redial for over three hours only to learn there were no availabilities while we were going to be at Disney 🙁 Dave…..please make my day and give me some hope that other times will be coming available. Thank you for your wealth of information.
Gaylene, it’s open for reservations nightly until park close. If more options didn’t show, either they are booked up (or booked up for your party size), or you may not have clicked the “dinner” button under “Time.” I just checked a random day in Feb and it offered me a 6.25p reservation…sorry you aren’t having a lot of luck so far!!!
Any inside information on how this fits into the Dining Plan? I’ve heard rumors of 2 credits for dinner…Any truth? Charater meal or just dinner? Trying to get the details to see if this is something we want to try to fit in this go-round or wait…
The pictures I’ve seen are spectacular! Disney really did this one right! Absolute WOW factor in every detail! Even my husband, who is not as enamored with Disney as I am, was enchanted! LOL! 🙂 Thanks for any info!
Hi KE, that’s all been set for a bit–one credit and no characters. If its wild popularity continues–I hear it’s sold out through its bookable dates–I expect that they’ll either add reservable table service dining to lunch (currently table service only at dinner), make it two credits, or both…
