Required Itinerary and To-Do List Changes for November 2010

A few weeks of November have a wildly different pattern of Extra Magic Hours caused by Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, special evening events–with their own tickets.

Because of these changes, both the standard Autumn-Winter-Spring itinerary and its To-Do List need revisions certain weeks of the month.

In addition, while the itinerary generally works fine for Thanksgiving, there’s a couple of points worth considering that week as well.

REQUIRED CHANGES BY ARRIVAL DATE

Itinerary changes are about what you do in the parks; To-Do List changes are about when you reserve stuff.

So if the weekly guidance says “Swap Wednesday and Friday,” that means both do Wednesday’s stuff on Friday, and vice-versa, and also make the reservations indicated in the To-Do List for Friday for Wednesday instead.

• October 30: Swap Wednesday and Friday in both your itinerary and in your To-Do List–that is, do Epcot on Wednesday, not Friday, and do what the itinerary and To-Do List note as Wednesday stuff on Friday instead
• November 6: Swap Wednesday and Friday in both your itinerary and in your To-Do List–that is, do Epcot on Wednesday, not Friday, and do what the itinerary and To-Do List note as Wednesday stuff on Friday instead
• November 20:the itinerary basically works, but see this page for thoughts on Thanksgiving day, and a heads up on possible operating hours changes. Also, Illuminations begins 30 minutes later than the itinerary indicates on 11/26.
