SATURDAY AGENDA
Today is the second of your visits to the Magic Kingdom! You will be there in the morning, off in the afternoon, and back in the evening.
You need to be at your bus stop (Pop) by 7:20, or at the Resort Monorail Stop (Polynesian) by 7:40.
Your goal this morning is to see the rides in Tomorrowland, and finish the morning off with play on Tom Sawyer’s Island. You then have the afternoon off to nap and swim. When you return tonight, you will be able to revisit some favorite rides, see the evening parade and fireworks, and, if you are still awake, finish your evening on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain. If you can’t stay up, you’ll see these first thing tomorrow!
FIRST THINGS
- Get up early and have breakfast in your room
- Pop Century Guests: Be at your hotels’ bus stop by 7:20 am, and catch the bus to the Magic Kingdom
- Polynesian Guests: be at the Resort Monorail Stop (reached from the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House) by 7:40
AT THE PARK: MORNING
- Be at the park by 8:00
- At the 9a open, make your way to Space Mountain, and ride. Fastpass for a second ride if you wish
- Find Buzz Lightyear and ride it
- At this point, you can either finish up Tomorrowland right now, or quickly go to Fantasyland to re-ride a favorite from yesterday before the lines get too long. If you do, come back immediately after and finish Tomorrowland
- Have lunch at Pecos Bills (counter credit), between Adventureland and Splash Mountain (take the train to Frontierland if you did not get to ride it yet)
- Take the raft to Tom Sawyer Island and tour it
- You are about to leave, so consider fastpassing any ride you might want to do this evening that has fastpass return times at 5p or later
- Return to your hotel and nap, swim, and begin to pack up. Polynesian guests take the “Express” or TTC monorail and walk back to Poly from the TTC. Pop guests take a lap on the resort monorail first–asking the guards if you can ride in front–and then return to your hotel from the Magic Kingdom bus station
AT THE PARK: EVENING
- Be back at the Magic Kingdom by 6p
- The evening has a number of scheduled items, and otherwise is make up and re-ride time. See anything you weren’t able to do in the instructions so far, or re-ride favorites, while keeping your scheduled events (7:30 dinner, 9p parade, 10p Fireworks) in mind
- At some point grab a Dole whip at Aloha Isle in Adventureland
- Make your 7:30p character meal at the Crystal Palace (table credit)
- See the 9p evening parade
- See the 10p fireworks from as close to the front of the Castle as you can get
- If you have the energy, return to Frontierland and see Big Thunder Mountain and then Splash Mountain. These two rides are at their best at night! Otherwise you will see them first thing tomorrow morning
- Head back to your hotel
