We rented the cars handicap suite. It is on the first floor? And can you tell me if it’s near the restaurT and a pool

Hi, the Cars family suites accessible rooms are on all floors of building #2. This is the most distant of the Cars building from the dining area. There is a small pool right outside. For a map of the resort, see this.

Eva, there are three Cars buildings. I recommend lake views, and two of these, buildings 2 and 3, have lake views. The one of these closest to the main pool, central services, and bus stops is building 3, so that’s the one I recommend!!

We will be arriving there on the 25th staying for the week. We are staying in the CarsFamily suite, was wondering if all the suites have a coffee pot and do all suites have the kitchenettes ?

Cars suite coffee pots: full-sized or typical “hotel” 2 cup pots? Drip, not K-cups, right?l

Andrea, they are side-by-side one cup drip pots. So you can make two cups at once, separately.

Do you suggest any particular rooms in the Finding Nemo buildings? Looking for a similar suggestion that you made about the Lion King building.

Megan, the first floor can be noisy, as can be the pool-facing rooms. I’d aim for a lake view upper floor room.

As a cost saving measure, the pools have been opening later and closing earlier. 10a-10p is not uncommon.

    HI Jennifer-

What a great upgrade. Gotta love that Pixie Dust. There are 3 pools at AoA. The Big Blue pool will almost always have a lifeguard present. As for as the hours, they vary depending on the crowds. They are usually open at least from 9am-9pm (But have opened as early as 8 and closed as late as 12 midnight).

I Love this, Great pictures. The Cars Suite was an upgrade from our All Star Music room, complimentary due to a large group wanting to take the All Star Resorts. For our future trip. Do you know how late typically the pools are open there? We will be there the first week of May. My son will be so excited to be staying here 🙂

    Hope-
The Cozy Cone Pool is just steps away from the entrance to each of the Cars Family Suite buildings. And The Big Blue Pool (the big main pool) is less than a 5 minute walk (even with distracted children. LOL). The noise level depends on the time of day. Art of Animation is a resort dedicated to families, so there will be noise. I found the Cozy Cone pool to be less crowded and more quiet.

Hope, Kelly is right. Moreover the pool right by cars is quite small, and less noisy than the other two pools at Art of Animation. To reduce noise even more, request a lake view room.

Thank you so much for this detailed information. I could not find a review that gave detailed info on the rooms withing the resort. With a family of four plus being a foster parent I normally get double rooms in order to have the space and amenities of upgraded hotels but this inconveniences the adults that can never really get a break. This review leaned me towards this resort. The themes make the experience and will definitely have the kids not complaining to go back to the resort and lounge. There is room to dine in on those nights I’m spent and we can keep everyone together no back and forth for late night chatter!!! Thank you I’m a Disney geek i am glad someone takes it as seriously as me!

Amber, I thought they were both fine. The pull down bed is more comfortable than the fold out couch.

Loving the photo tours! Someday we hope to be able to justify staying there. (Dang DVC membership) I didn’t realize how big the table bed was. Lots of sleeping room!

Heidi I get you…if you don’t need sleeping space for six, these are definitely pricey!!

Great photo tour, Dave! I know Ian would LOVE to stay in one of these suites, but I’m just too cheap to justify the cost difference between these suites and POR. Of course, it would be splendid to have the 2nd bathroom!
