Hi Dave – Just wondering if Mike had any luck entering at 4 PM on his January visit. We are contemplating purchasing tickets but like to be prepared! Would love a follow up review of 2018 experience 🙂 Thanks

What are ticket prices. Do you know how many tickets are sold? Just wondering what “next to no one” means.

Sue, from Disney’s website: Admission to Disney After Hours can be purchased in advance for $119 per adult or child, plus tax—or purchased on the day of the event for $124 per adult or child, plus tax. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of specially priced tickets for just $89 per adult or child, plus tax.

Look at the photos in one of my reviews (linked near the top of the page) to get a sense of how many people are present. “Next to no one.”

    Hey Dave-

We just received our tickets for our January trip, including the 1-19 After Hours event. We have always wanted to do this, and my daughters cant wait.

When I see tickets….I mean just that. There isn’t a lanyard, and on the sheet the tickets are adhered to, there is the directive “Disney After Hours credentials are required for access to the event. You may pick up your credentials at the Magic Kingdom turnstiles starting at 7:00PM on the day of the event.”

I guess in my mind’s eye, I’ve always envisioned walking up credentialed already, and as early as 4 o’clock (specifically at 4 to tell the truth). Is the issuance of credentials at the turnstile a new phenomenon for 2018, or have they always done it that way? Additionally, do you still think they would do it at or around 4 o’clock, as has been intimated on more than a couple of sites?

Hey Mike, both times I did it it worked the same way–the credential came in the park. They will almost assuredly let you in at 4p with your sheet. You may or may not get your credential then–it’s possible you might need to pick it up later.

What if I am already in MK that day? Do I need to exit, turn around and re-enter to get my special pass? I’ve already reserved a ticket for one of the nights in January 2018, so excited!

Julie, there will be a couple of spots in the park where you can get your pass. Have a ball!!!

Do you think they will allow for a 4pm entrance? May want to dine in the park before the party but not use my park admission for that day on MK.
