Any updates on these discounts for public for January 2014? We are going MLK week.

Dave, it is the case indeed. If you plan to book more than 14 nights, that is 15 or more, you can´t buy either tickets or dining plan with the bundle. You got to buy them separated. Weird, huh?

Tom, sometimes I’m surprised that I’m surprised at the things Disney will do!

I got codes for November 2013 today. I was hoping they were for 2014 since I will be there in Feb.

    Hello!
Do these rates apply to “room only” reservations, or would they be applied to the room portion of a package, assuming I could get a pin? Also, I received a pin from Disney via email the other day for roughly the same dates for “play, stay, dine” deals. Any thoughts on that discount?? Should I call and book with that one since I already have a pin? Thanks!! Your site has been invaluable to this obsessive planning, first time Disney visitor/mom 🙂

Hi Jessica, and I’m so glad the site is helping!

These room rate discounts don’t require you to buy anything else. You can add other elements like dining and tix if you wish.

I’ve heard that the “play” deal is out too, but haven’t seen the details, so I don’t know what it’s worth…

Hi Dave, so if I’m booking through my travel agent, would she be the one that can call and see if we have a pin code? Or would it be better if I called myself? We are travelling Feb 28 – Mar 9, 2014. Do those room rate deals apply to us?

Jennifer, you can find out if you have a code yourself, but, if you booked through a travel agent, only your travel agent can get it applied. So I’d leave both to the travel agent…

Dave, I found out that if you want to stay for more than 14 days at a Disney resort you can´t purchase tickets or dining plan with your room, any reason why? I wanted to stay for 16 nights and couldn’t. Should I make another reservation for the extra days?

Hey Tom, I think I had heard that before, but interesting to have you confirm it! I have no idea why. Splitting your reservation does seem to make sense…

Oh yay! Thanks for this update! Now to try to get one of those pin codes. Are they giving them out to people already booked also?
