Ack! Ignore my previous post. I now see on the product page that you also get access to the updates. Sorry!

    Hi Dave,
happy to see another edition of the guide released, congrats to you and Josh! Not sure if I missed this somewhere but will you still be sending out e-mail updates to those who purchase a hard-copy?
The book is not yet available in Canada but I’ll order it from .com instead of .ca
    Best,
    Mel

Your Easy Guide really is the best. It’s very obviously penned by people who know WDW inside & out.
I recently bought the new 2018 Unofficial Guide (which you subtly referenced above) for the 1st time in 5 years. I was bitterly disappointed by their lack of updates on some of the changes around WDW. I mean, it’s actually a bit embarrassing. I kept yelling at the book because things were just wrong.
The average WDW visitor wouldn’t realize the out-of-date info they’re receiving, and end up making mistakes.

    Ok, off my soapbox.
I tend to get all the major guidebooks every few years because I love reading about the “World”.
Yours is the only one I need to get every year.

Jeff, thanks. Having been doing this now a bit, I appreciate much more how hard it is to get it right.

You have to be aware of the changes, remember to incorporate them, make sure they are spread to all the right spots, and avoid typos (which is what I imagine happened in my “Easter” reference–April 1 got doubled to April 11). And during refurbs, a lot of judgement is involved, which ranges from how much re-writing you do to how firmly do you warn people off.

We have been guilty of problems with all of these, but I genuinely think we get more right than anyone else…by far. And that’s because we have deeper, more recent experience than anyone else…by far
