If I made my own reservation, what phone number do I call for “room assignments” to remind them of my room request?

Debbie–(407) 939-1936. Your call will be routed to the generic call center. There’s no way to actually call the front desks.

Thank you for your great article.
Me and my family will visit WDW this August. We are staying at the Old Key West Resort. We booked a studio.
I read in your article that this Resort is pretty large.
What room requests should we mention when we check in?
The room should be quiet, near transportation, have its own parking lot and near a pool (it hasn’t to be the main pool). Any tips ? After a long day in the parks we really want to avoid long walks in the heat :).
I would be very grateful if you could give me some advice to make this vacation unforgettable.

    Thank you 🙂
    Greetings from Germany

Sonja, all have nearby parking. Some are near pools, some are near bus stops, but few are near both. Those near bus stops largely are also further way from noisy outside roads, so I would suggest your request be “near transportation.”

Thank you very much Dave. You helped me a lot. Can I request only one thing or can I request both pool and transportation ?
How long takes it to drive to the parks with the Disney transportation system?

Sonja, you can request both, but the less you request the better your chance of getting what you really want. Buses leave about every 20 minutes, and take about 20 minutes to get to the parks.

Great article Dave! We are happy to help. These are just some of the extra steps that our team does for all of your customers to make sure they have a magical visit with Mickey! The great news is that we do the work for your customers and for free. As an added bonus, the Front Desk staff at the Disney Resorts know our agency (since we book so many vacations), which gives our guests that extra edge for requests or upgrades.
