My bud Joe Black’s disboards post here has the details on a Disney Visa room-only offer for 2014 at Walt Disney World that came out this morning.
I expect a general-public deal to come out October 8 that’ll be very similar.

- 35% off: Animal Kingdom Lodge (Standard & Pool View), Beach Club, Yacht Club, BoardWalk Inn, Polynesian Resort, Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa , Wilderness Lodge (Standard & Woods View)
- 25% off: Animal Kingdom Lodge (Club Level & Savanna View), Wilderness Lodge (Club Level & Courtyard View)
- Excluded (or perhaps 5% off): Other view types
DVC Resorts:
- 35% off: Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, Beach Club Villas, BoardWalk Inn Villas
- 25% off: Villas at Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas
- 5% off: Bay Lake Tower
- Excluded: Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and 3-bedroom Villas
There’s also a “Stay Play Dine” Disney Visa offer, but I don’t quite get its terms yet, so I’ll add that later.

Hi, I am planning on going to WDW April 12-18th, do you think there will be an extended discount for that week or is this too close to Easter for a dicount? I know I would get the discount for the 12th but I think that’s the only day. :-/

Any word on discounts for May? We are going may 5-9 and were bummed the promos only run till Apr 21. You think theyll extend like they did earlier this year?

Hi Dave. I was curious as to how I can use this deal. I am hoping this same deal will be released on October 8, like you’ve suggested. I don’t have a Disney Visa card. We will be at WDW Feb 28-Mar 9. Do I ask my travel agent to check out prices for us? We already have room reservations for 1 All Star Music Family Suite, and two standard rooms. I’m just not sure how to go about seeing if we can take advantage of this deal.

Jennifer, just make sure your travel agent is aware of it–probably is, but can’t hurt to double check–and intends to try to put you into it!
