Dave, I have another question about our October visit. Our 180 days is this week…yay! So, I’m finalizing our dining reservation itinerary. We arrive on a Tuesday. We land around Noon and will take Magical Express to Wilderness Lodge to check in. My original plan was to book Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at 5pm and dinner reservations at Cinderella’s Royal Table at 6pm that evening. I figured, we get those 2 things done and then that frees up some time for other things throughout the rest of our visit. I called Disney for something else and mentioned this to the Rep I spoke with and she strongly advised against that plan. She was concerned that a flight would be delayed or something and it could ruin our plans for both BBB and the Royal Table (and there would be no opportunity to rebook later in the week). So, my first question is….do you agree with her assessment? Based on that, I rejiggered our plans. My second question is…..if deciding between Akershus Princess Dinner or 1900 Parc Fare Princess Dinner, do you have a recommendation one way or the other? Thinking of doing Parc Fare and making our one dinner at Epcot the Coral Reef instead of Akershus. The only drawback I see is that some of the princesses we will meet at Akershus will not be at 1900 Parc Fare. Thanks!!

Hi Shana! Just from a risk-management point of view, it likely is a good idea to not book anything that early that you’d hate to miss. Akershus is much better than 1900, but if you have a preference for 1900, it is also good!

    Dave,
As you can see, I’ve been all over your site! Thanks for answering all of my questions. I am SO excited that I found this page. I have been looking high and low for the October operation hours! Why do they not list Animal Kingdom operating hours in that document? We are planning to be in AK on Sunday, 10/27. I am going off of what is predicted as the hours (9am-6pm). Does that sound about right? One more (slightly off-topic question). What’s your favorite recommendation for dinner in Downtown Disney? I’m not a fan of Rainforest Cafe, so somewhere other than that, please!

    Dave,

Thanks as always. Just trying to plan ahead. Still hoping for a free meal plan for October or a discounted room/tickets at the very least.

    Scott.
