Tina, room rate discounts are common then…
Are there usually any discounts (rooms maybe) offered for mid October? Looks like we won’t get the “Free Dining” during this time… It starts up again the last week of October.
Hi Stephanie! Those dates are cheaper only at the deluxe resorts. At the moderates and values, price don’t go down until August 16. See this: http://yourfirstvisit.net/2013/10/13/projected-disney-world-2015-price-seasons/ I expect a deal for them–about 20% off at selected moderates– will come out at the end of March/beginning of April.
I’m anxiously waiting to hear the next deal announcement as I am hoping to plan a trip to Disney for the last week of July/first week of August this year. I’ve heard this is one of the cheapest times to stay there, however when I priced the resort hotels, prices seemed very expensive for that time of year. Do you know if there is usually a deal for the resorts that time of year? I’m particularly looking at the “moderate” ones.
