Thanks @Dave for the honest and quick response. With your experience at WDW I have one more question. We are going the 17th – 25th of April. I believe Seattle, Boston and another NE school district have spring break during those times. I’m slightly concerned about overall crowd levels, not because I can’t tour efficiently, but, just, have had some great experiences at Disney when crowd levels were low (mostly in Sept, before free dining really got going). I’ve read and read through multiple forums and most folks say that 2 weeks after Easter is when WDW really sees crowds… Read more »

Hi Matt, and welcome to the comments 🙂 The short answer is no, no one on the outside knows how many rooms are set aside. The best available marker of potential availability is differential discounts within resort classes. So for example, among the moderates, POFQ is often not offered or offered at a lower deal, and sometimes that happens at POR. CB and CS, though, are always in the deals at the highest moderate discount (demand for CB likely will improve as it completes its refurb to queen beds and some 5 person rooms.)
