Getting More FASTPASSES Faster at Walt Disney World
OVERVIEW: GETTING MORE FASTPASSES FASTER AT WALT DISNEY WORLD

Walt Disney World’s FASTPASS program permits your family to skip a lot of waiting in line for some of Walt Disney World’s most loved—and hence crowded—attractions, for free.
I have posted details on this program elsewhere. This page is meant to help you—at some real cost—overcome some of the key limitations of the FASTPASS program:
- You can only get a FASTPASS every two hours
- Some FASTPASSES are completely distributed early in the day
- Other FASTPASSES quickly build to a return time very late in the day
Walt Disney World currently has no program similar the “Universal Express Program” for Universal resort guests.
This remarkable Universal program allows Universal hotel guests to move to the front of almost every ride’s waiting line as many times as they wish, whenever they wish, beginning as soon as the parks open. (See this for details.)
However, you can buy your way into a roughly similar situation at Walt Disney World—simply by buying and using more than one theme park admission ticket per person!
Two theme park tickets used for admission allow twice as many FASTPASSES, on average granting you a FASTPASS every hour rather than every two.

NEW WALT DISNEY WORLD PROMOTION FOR SPRING AND SUMMER DATES
Walt Disney World has a new resort discount out for most nights from May 2 through August 14.
- Under this deal, select value resort rooms are available for a discount of 15% off list, moderates for 20% off, deluxes for 25% off, and Disney Vacation Club rooms for 30% off.
- This deal can be booked through August 14, and replaces a number of deals that had to be reserved by March 27.

I have noted elsewhere in the instructions for typical families visiting Walt Disney World for the first, and perhaps only, time, that they should plan to be there for 8 nights and 9 days to see all of its best, while also building in sufficient time to relax and rest.
I have also noted elsewhere that to save money on a trip to Walt Disney World, you will find more promise in optimizing when you go and where you stay than in shortening your trip.
However, this page provides some thoughts on a minimum length trip to Walt Disney World.

SUMMER 2010 DEALS FOR WALT DISNEY WORLD ANNOUNCED
Hey–for the latest on Disney World deals, promotions, and discounts, see this page.
Walt Disney World has announced discounts off of its normal prices for the summer of 2010.
The deals include most nights from June 4 through August 14, and provide the following discounts for stays of one night or more:
- Value resorts: 25% off
- Moderate resorts: 30% off
- Deluxe resorts: 35% off
- Disney Vacation Club Villas: 40% off.
