Wednesday: 7 Night Disney World Summer Itinerary v2

WEDNESDAY AGENDA

This morning you will begin your visit to the Animal Kingdom, and from there head to Downtown Disney in the evening to see Cirque du Soleil’s spectacular show La Nouba.

Most summer Wednesdays the Animal Kingdom has morning Extra Magic Hours. Check with you concierge to be sure.

You need to be at your hotel bus stop by 7a (if Extra Magic Hours today) or 7:20a (if not).

FIRST THINGS

Get up early and have breakfast in your room

Be at your hotels’ bus stop by 7a or 7:20 am, and catch the bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom

AT THE PARK: MORNING

• Be at the park by 8
• At opening, head to Expedition Everest. Fastpass it, then ride it
• Go into Dinoland and ride (in order) Dinosaur, Triceratops Spin, and Primeval Whirl
• Use your fastpass to ride Expedition Everest again
• Head for Africa and fastpass Kilimanjaro Safaris.
• Check the show calendar–especially for Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo–snf pick which times you will see them
• Fit in the remaining rides and shows over the course of the day, except the parade and Kali River Rapids, which you will do on Friday
• Have lunch at the Flame Tree Barbecue (counter credit) before 11 or after 1
• Finish up in the park until you are ready to head to Downtown Disney. You need to be heading that way by 5.45p

YOUR EVENING

• By 5.45p, be back at the bus area and take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. From there take a bus to Downtown Disney. (You have to do this because the buses do not run non-stop between the theme parks and Downtown Disney).
• Ask the Downtown Disney bus driver which stop to get off for the Rainforest Cafe, get off there, and enjoy your 7.15 dinner (cash)
• After dinner, get a map, and find Cirque du Soleil. If it is 8:30p or later, enter and find your seats. If earlier, explore DTD a bit, being sure to be inside Cirque du Soleil by 8:30p
• After the show, spend as much time in DTD as you like, and when you are ready, use your map to find the closest bus stop and take the bus back to your hotel

Tomorrow you begin your visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
