THE LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN AREA OF A BEACH CLUB VILLA
As in other Disney Vacation Club resorts, the living/dining/kitchen area of a Beach Club Villa is identical in both One and Two Bedroom Villas.
Along with other DVC offerings of similar designs (Wilderness Lodge, BoardWalk Villas, and Saratoga Springs) the space is too small for the full eight person capacity of Two Bedroom Villas–not enough dining or living seats.
At the entry you’ll find either a closet or a door to a connecting Studio (our room was a little unusual with a back of the living room connection).
A hall angles off to the master bedroom and bath. Straight ahead is the living area. This image, from the balcony side, gives an overall view of the kitchen dining and living area. (As always on this site, click any image to enlarge it.)
When you enter from outside, the first space you find is this dining table. Note the three bench seats. There’s more chairs in the Villa you can move here, but the table barely will fit six.
Across is a fully-equipped small kitchen.
Another angle. Every basic appliance, utensil and thingy you need to prep, cook and serve is here.
Deeper in the space is the living area. One side has this couch…
…which folds out into a bed. I measured this bed as 60 inches wide by 78 inches long, with a four inch cushion. Note the metal rail at the foot which makes it sleep shorter than its measurements imply. Like most Disney World fold-out beds, save this for shorter kids.
When unfolded, the sofa bed is so close–7 inches–to the breakfast bar that knocked shins are an issue.
The other side of the room has a TV/dresser and easy chair. Between the couch and chair, this living room seats four.
The dresser has plenty of storage for the two people this space is meant to sleep.
The kitchen is particularly warm and colorful, and there’s also fun prints on the walls…
…this one reinforcing the point that the Beach Club and its Villas is themed on the southern New Jersey coast, not “New England” as is widely repeated.
