The Autumn-Winter-Spring Itinerary and its To-Do List work mostly fine for the May weeks indicated through the week beginning May 21.
However, each week needs some minor changes.
The itinerary has you at the Magic Kingdom the second Saturday each of these weeks. Disney’s latest calendar has the Magic Kingdom opening not at 9a on Saturdays in May, but rather at 8a.
So for each week, begin your second Saturday an hour earlier than the itinerary indicates.
Also, because of the re-opening of Star Tours, Hollywood Studios will be opening at 8a on 5/22, so those using this itinerary with a 5/21 arrival date will need to begin their day 5/22 an hour earlier as well.
Likely related to extra crowds avoiding Star Tours, the Animal Kingdom is opening at 8a May 22.
The earlier weeks–because of changes in the typical Fantasmic and/or Wishes show schedules–need the most adjustments.
Those arriving April 30 have the most adjustments to make.
- On the first Sunday, do the day as written but go to the Magic Kingdom in the evening for the evening parade and Wishes. Do the restaurant reservation in the To-Do List written as for the second Saturday night this first Sunday instead.
- On Tuesday evening, instead of going to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue, return to Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic, following the Hollywood Studios suggestions from the first evening.
- Switch the Hoop Dee Doo Revue reservations in the To-Do List from Tuesday to Thursday, and see it Thursday evening.
- Begin your second Saturday an hour earlier than indicated
May 7 arrivals have a simpler task–just swap the itinerary and To-Do List entries for the first Sunday evening and Monday evening, and begin your second Saturday an hour earlier.
May 14 arrivals just need to begin their second Saturday an hour earlier.
May 21 arrivals need to begin both their first Sunday and second Saturday an hour earlier.
