OVERVIEW: THE MOST COMFORTABLE WAY TO TOUR THE THEME PARKS AT WALT DISNEY WORLD
This site provides precise instructions elsewhere, including on how to tour the parks at Walt Disney World. These instructions are designed for typical first time family visitors who are not sure whether or not they will ever return.
This page introduces a series on how to tour the theme parks at Walt Disney World for a subset of first time visitors: those seeking the most comfortable visit.
This series is part of the material on this site about the most comfortable way to visit Walt Disney World. Its companion material is about the most inexpensive way to visit Walt Disney World.
I am publishing both at the same time so that they also help those who are looking for bargains and deals on some things, so that they can spend more on others!! Links to everything in these two series are at the bottom of the page.
MORE ON THE MOST COMFORTABLE WAY TO TOUR THE THEME PARKS AT WALT DISNEY WORLD
This site suggests instructions elsewhere for first time family visitors who do not know whether or not they will return, and promises them that following these instructions will yield the best possible trip for the least time spent planning.
These instructions are solid for their intended audience, but create some comfort problems, which this series helps to solve.
The comfort problems with these instructions are as follows:
- To assure they can get in to all of the best-loved dining venues, families need to set their plans well in advance; to have any sit–down dinners at all, almost always some advance planning is required
- Seeing all the best of the rides and attractions, while minimizing time spent waiting in line, pretty much requires picking the right days to visit the parks, and having a good plan of attack for each day—for an example, see this.
- Seeing all the best without spending much time in line also requires multiple early mornings. For example, this site’s Basic Itinerary requires 4 early mornings, its Autumn-Winter-Spring Itinerary has 5 early mornings in it, and its Summer Itinerary has (gulp) 8 really early mornings.
The most comfortable way to tour the theme parks would resolve four goals: it would
- Minimize the time you have to spend planning,
- Limit how far in advance your planning needs to be complete,
- Reduce how much you have to follow a daily schedule, and
- Eliminate the early mornings in your itinerary.
