OVERVIEW: SEPTEMBER 2015 AT DISNEY WORLD
This page reviews September 2015 Walt Disney World crowds, prices, deals and discounts, weather, and operating hours; adds a few other notes; and ends with week by week summaries.
September combines low crowds with low prices, and typically also has a great room rate and free dining deals as well.
This makes it a great month for returning visitors.
But it has lousy weather, combining continuing summer heat and humidity with the peak of the hurricane season, making me not so keen on the month for first time visitors who may never return.

Yup, Mike–I expect Weds the 11th will be a wreck. But with FastPass+ you can still have a good time just before the nighttime entertainment!
Looks like it will be Sun, Tue, Thu, and Fri for MVMCP on Vet day week. Will shake up our plans a bit this year. We’ll probably do MK Sun, Tu, and Fr this year and skip the nighttime entertainment or watch from Poly. We always go to MK on Wed, but I wonder if Wed will be much busier this week with so many MVMCPs, or still low, comparable to Tue.
Mike that’s a great question.
I won’t be forecasting MVMCP for another month–but I expect my forecast will be Mon/Thur/Fri. That’s been, as you note, the pattern the last three years, and there was too much general variability 2011 and prior for me to put much stock in 2009 as a predictive pattern.
Touringplans.com, BTW, has M/T/T/F as its forecast. If that’s so, Wednesday will be a heck of a day at MK!!
Hi Dave, question to help us with planning our nov 2015 trip. With Vet day falling on a Wed this year, do you anticipate MVMCPs that week to be on Mon, Thu, Fri as has been tradition last few years or Sun, Tue, Thu, Fri like most other weeks, and last time Vet day fell on a Wed in 2009?
