THE MASTER BEDROOM AND BATH AT THE TREEHOUSE VILLAS
The master bedroom in the Treehouse Villas has a queen bed–smaller than the kings in other DVC master bedrooms.
Here’s another view of the queen–and of the view outside the bedroom windows. Note at the foot of the bed the TV and dresser.
There’s another smaller dresser on the side…
…and at the foot of the bed a bench and desk as well.
Near the door to the bath you’ll find this closet–there’s plenty of storage both in this room and in the villas overall.
The master bath opens from the back of the bedroom. It offers this sink and large counter…
…and a glassed-in whirlpool bath, with, unusually…
…a shower before the bath in the same glassed-in space.
The toilet has its own separate space.
THE BACK BEDROOMS AND BATH AT THE TREEHOUSE VILLAS
The rest of the spaces in the villa are off a hall on the other side of the living room. The first door on the right of this hall is the bunk bed room, the second the queen room, the center door the bath, and unseen on the left is a door to the laundry.
Here’s the washer and dryer, typical of DVC villas.
The bath is un-divided–a mistake in a space that sleeps 9, especially when the only other bath is hidden away in the master bedroom. Here’s the sink side…
…and the tub/shower.
The queen room back here is smaller and less furnished than the master bedroom–although it has all the basics, and has one of the fun corner windows.
Besides the bed and side tables, there’s a TV and dresser…
The bunk bed room has the same stuff except for shelves rather than bed tables. As noted earlier, the bunk mattresses are just 70 inches long–with frame clearance allowing another couple of inches for toes–making them impractical for anyone much over 5′ 8″.
Also in the bunk bed room you’ll find this TV and dresser…
…this closet just beyond it…
More so than any other DVC options, the Treehouses are not large hotel rooms, but rather little houses. As a result, while you are in them, they bring a combination of wonderful livability and charming woodsy decor…
…and when you are near them, you can luxuriate in as natural a setting as you will find in Walt Disney World–for this view, I just went down the steps and turned right.
But it’s getting someplace else that shows their shortcomings. Remarkably inconvenient even for those with cars, I can’t possibly recommend them to first timers.
But for repeat visitors with wheels and a reason to stay in them–like wanting the three bedrooms, the deck, the extra living space, the lovely setting, the quiet and solitude–they are just great!

Sandi, frankly this may be true, as the resorts now have more autonomy over their buses than they used to have, and changes have emerged.
However I can’t find any evidence that it is true, and frankly it seems unlikely to me. There’s only 60 Treehouses, so a dedicated set of buses seems unlikely, and adding these stops to the standard SS buses, which already take forever, seems like a real negative for the 1,320 units in SS….
Leigh, the sleeper chair is 79 inches long, so it should work!!
Hello There! We are planning to stay in the Treehouse Villas for the 1st time this Sept, while this is not our first visit to WDW it is to the Villa’s. We are driving, and know all about the transportation issues. My question for you is do you think someone around 6’3 could fit length wise on the sleeper chair in the living area? I see from your report that the bunk bed option is out as it has the frame that will cause some issues. Thanks
Angela–yes, a two-bedroom villa at Old Key West http://yourfirstvisit.net/2013/04/29/review-disneys-old-key-west-resort-2/
