DISNEY WORLD FREE DINING
As I posted yesterday, the current forecast is that Free Dining will come out for Disney Visa holders on May 1, and for the general public on May 7–not May 5.
But this is a forecast, not carved in stone. Β To keep up with what actually happens–in case, for example, it does come out May 5!–I suggest doing two things:
- First,Β sign up for email notification about free diningΒ from my friends at Destinations in Florida. Β Click this link, fill out the form, reply to the confirmatory email, and you are set!
- Second, check this thread (click “last page”) every morning. Β If things happens sooner than expected, you’ll find out quickly there–any news will show up right after 7a eastern.
Word is that the Brazilian deal will include the following eligible arrival dates, and thus so too might the general public deal:
- 8/31 to 10/03
- 10/26 to 11/1
- 11/9 to 11/20 and
- 12/12 to 12/23
Treat these as forecasts, too. Β General public offers are often hairier than Brazilian ones. The US offer may be the same; it may be only for the late August-early October dates; it may be for all these basic date blocks, but with slightly different start or end dates; or it may be something entirely different.

I am on a few of the facebook groups – Don’t do it!! they are enough to give you a panic attack….. Disney mustbe so TORTURED today with calls about free dining (that doesn’t exist yet) aye aye……
Not really much of a Facebook gal…but when I am in the planning stage of the next trip – I might bite the bullet and get with it. For now, it is just your wisdom that keeps me up-to-date for my fictional next trip. The winter trip turned into a trip to Maryland and Washington DC…but that is not as much fun to plan, sad to say. No “First time to Williamsburg at Christmas” websites…
Have a wonderful first day of May,
Wendy
This makes me hopeful! Our dates coincide with the dates mentioned and we will be so thankful for free dining! Free dining equals a longer stay for us, which would be so awesome! Fingers crossed! π
Keiht by my math, mods cost about $80 more per night than Pop, but the upgrade cost on the Quick Service plan for your three will be ~$43/night. So just on the $ you still do better at a value–by $37/night.
π Wendy…I miss you when you don’t talk to me here! BTW if you are on facebook check out this gang https://www.facebook.com/groups/disneywhisperers/ It’s run by Joe and Smitch from the “free dining” threads…
