DISNEY WORLDÂ DISCOUNTÂ FOR LATE WINTER AND SPRING 2013
Walt Disney World has released a discount that covers most dates from April 2, 2013 through June 14 2013.
The new Disney World deal includes hotel savings ranging from 15% to 30%. It also claims additional savings on tickets if you add at least 4 days of tickets to the package, but I haven’t yet done the math.
The April through June dates need to be booked by March 31.
See the image below for some more specifics, or see Disney’s page on this deal here.

Dave my husband and I are 65 and 66 My husbands birthday is Sept 6 and I thought it would be fun to do a senior trip to Disney. Any advise would be great. Stay at the park, get a travel agent or work on deals myself. Are there senior discounts? Thanks for your help. L.
Hey Melissa…frankly at that age it doesn’t really matter so I’d go with Pop and the savings. You can come back to the Little Mermaid rooms in a few years. Note also that there’s a Little Mermaid show at HS and both a Little Mermaid ride and an Ariel meet and greet in the Magic Kingdom–see this: http://yourfirstvisit.net/2013/01/14/review-the-enchanted-forest-magic-kingdom/

Hi Dave,
We are planning an April visit either the week of 4/13 or 4/27 (from your “weeks ranked” they look similar) and would like your opinion regarding hotel choice. Because of the spring discount, a 7 night stay/5-day park tix package at Pop Century is $322 cheaper than a standard room at Art of Animation and full price 5-day park tix. My daughters are 5 and 2 and big fans of Ariel… do you think Art of Animation is worth the extra cost? Thanks so much for your input, we really need it!
Hi Kalyn, that’s great news! I’m guessing they won’t offer free dining for then, and if they do, it won’t be the deluxe plan.. If they do, it’ll be just a question of math to see which is the better for you…

Dave,
I have already saved $3000.00……My trip went from $8900.00 to $5800.00 for a party of three adults and two children. We will be staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins from March 1st to March 9th. With that said, I have a question…..Do you think that Disney will offer a free dining plan during that time, and should I switch from the deal that I have on my lodging to a free Deluxe dining plan, if so offered? Any help or info. would be appreciated. Thank you.
