At the moment, there’s two deals available to the general public:
- A “Play Stay and Dine” deal, and
- A room rate deal.

Joe of course you are right. I was thinking of the public offers that Disney makes available to everyone e.g. here. The mailed/emailed offers are sometimes just a repeat of the general public offers, and sometimes are pretty unique, or come out well before the general public offer. These are often called “pin code” offers and there is not nearly as much predictability or visibility to them…
Dave,
I must be confused. Disney is always emailing me or USPS offers to me. I have booked every time through one of these, either by clicking through or entering a code from the direct mail offer.
So that is why I think they “send” me offers. Are we talking the same “offers”?
Joe, no, there’s no “send.” If/when the offer comes out, you can only get it by calling (if you already have a booking) and competing with everyone else for the inventory. Everyone is eligible, whether or not they have a booking–but not all rooms types/hotels will be in it, so you may have to shift to another.
Dave,
Thanks for the answer about 15-25% in January 2016. So, if I book before i get a discount mail or email, will Disney know I booked and not send me an offer?
Caitlin there’s two issues: Does Disney offer the deal (probably) and can you out-fight others to get one of the few rooms included in it (maybe). See this for some of the challenges. Recently, the late summer free dining deals have been announced end of April/beginning of May
