Itinerary and To-Do List Changes for July 2012

By Dave Shute

The Summer Itinerary and its associated To-Do List work fine for most of the weeks of July.

However, for visits beginning June 30 2012 there’s a change needed, and also an opportunity.

The change is to swap the First Sunday and Tuesday, both in the itinerary and To-Do list.  This is needed because Epcot has extra magic hours this week on Sunday, not Tuesday.

The opportunity is to see 4th of July fireworks on the Wednesday the 4th at the Magic Kingdom or Epcot.  Schedules for these fireworks are not out as I write this (in December 2011) but Disney has done this for years.

To see these fireworks, you need to shift Cirque du Soleil from the evening of Wednesday the 4th to Friday the 6th in both the itinerary and To-Do list, and also to buy the Park Hopper add-on to your tickets so that you can enter the Magic Kingdom or Epcot that evening.
