New Disney World Room Rate Deal Goes Into June 2015

By Dave Shute

DEALS ON DISNEY WORLD HOTEL ROOMS

Disney World Room Rate Deal Spring 2015My friends at Destinations in Florida let me know that today Disney World released a new room rate deal for stays most nights from March 2 through June 15, 2015.

It’s a somewhat complex deal:

  • There’s different discounts for stays before or after April 5, and
  • Two different book-by dates–booking by February 16 will get in some cases a better deal than booking in the deal’s second period, February 17th through March 28
  • Moreover, as usual some room types are excluded, and others have different discounts than others in their class.

If you are ready to book, contact Kelly, the designated Destinations In Florida agent for yourfirstvisit.net readers, at KellyB@DestinationsInFlorida.com or 980-241-7066.

Kelly offers itinerary planning, dining services, mouse perks….complete professional vacation planning all for FREE!!!  (Don’t forget to mention that I sent you.  All qualified vacation packages also receive a copy of “The Easy Guide to Your First Walt Disney World Visit – 2015” FREE.)

Otherwise, here’s some of the details of the offer.

VALUE RESORTS

At the values, All-Star Movies and standard Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation are excluded. Otherwise, here’s the deal:

Availability is going fast. Don’t put off booking. Only a $200 will reserve your vacation package.

We are planning a trip to disneyworld and would appreciate your insights and assistance in ensuring we have a wonderful memory. There are 4 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 15. We are ok to share a large enough villa if that is more economical. Our desire is to be able to easily get back and forth to the parks so would prefer to stay where our hotel is accessible by monorail, boat or shuttle. Our travel dates are April 3-10 but can be slightly flexible to take advantage of further discounts. The level of accommodation is preferred to be deluxe but can be moderate if availability is limited. I hope these details are sufficient for you to begin providing information. Thank you!

Hi Debbie! The weeks around Easter are among the most crowded and expensive of the year, so I certainly can’t recommend those dates. Material on everything you need to plan begins on this page: https://yourfirstvisit.net/

I am taking my children who are 15 & 10 years old and my mom for our very first trip! We are looking for great deals and low crowds. Would May or September be a better time for us to go?

Hi Dave. Looking to go to Disney 11/29-12/6/15. Family of 5 . What are the odds of a room discount during this week.

9 Dave { 01.29.15 at 7:24 am }

Very high, Kim!

Hi Dave! Family of 3 adults and 1 infant going to Disney October 26-30, 2015. What types of discounts might be offered for the deluxe villas resorts?

We booked our WDW trip on January 13, 2015 for a seven day stay in April 2015. Just paid my final balance due for the package. At the time we booked, the Port Orleans Riverside rooms were not included in the WDW discounted room rate plan. Now I see they are! Would have saved $400 by waiting another month to book. Then again, FP+ reservations would have been more difficult since we would be well inside the 60-day reservation window. Has anybody had any luck getting a “price adjustment” or should I just “grin and bear it”?

Hi Carol! My guess is we’ll see 25% off deals for those dates, for some of the DVC spaces. Some will be excluded…

13 Dave { 02.19.15 at 5:09 pm }

Rob, call and see if you can re-book into the deal. Your FP+ won’t change. Call soon, though, or you’ll have to pay the new ticket prices–expected to go up Sunday…

Thank you Dave. I will try it tonight.

So I called Disney reservations Friday night (2/20) to ask them to re-book us in PO Riverside Garden View Room under the new, discounted package rate (20% off). The representative told us that their were “no rooms available” at that rate. When I told the rep that I saw rooms available on the website immediately before calling, he said that the website wasn’t “real-time” and that the PO Riverside rooms previously offered at that rate were all booked. I checked again this morning and the website says rooms are available! Something’s not right…

16 Dave { 02.23.15 at 12:50 pm }

Cripes, Rob! What kinda deal do you have? If it’s room only, you can book the POR room online, then call to cancel the old one. If it’s a package, then penalties kick in at 45 days–which you may be already past

17 Julie De lair { 02.26.15 at 4:03 pm }

Hello! Family of 6, looking to stay 6 nights at one of the value suites or Fort Wilderness, inbetween April 10-19th.
Any suggestions for the best rate?

18 Dave { 02.27.15 at 7:38 am }

Julie, the deal on this page will give you the best rate.

19 Kristen { 04.03.15 at 1:25 pm }

We booked at the Contemporary in November for a trip May 16-22. When was this deal originally published? We just paid the final bill for our trip and I’m wondering about an adjustment.

20 Dave { 04.05.15 at 11:08 am }

Kirsten, this deal came out in December. Sadly, it had to be booked by March 28. There is no adjustment–Disney does not apply such deals to old reservations. Essentially you had to book a new one (and then cancel your old one) to get the deal.
