Two 2014 Disney World Deals to Come Out October 8

By Dave Shute

Update 10/8: These deals are out!!  See this.
2014 Disney World Deals from yourfirstvisit.netRumors have been rampant since Monday that Disney World will release two deals for 2014 on October 8.

The most common version is that room-rate discounts and a Stay/Play/Dine deal will be coming out then, and will cover much of January, all of February, some of March, and early April.

I haven’t been able to confirm any of the specific details being written about with my own sources, but the Mysterious J has confirmed that two Disney World deals in fact will come out October 8.

As I get more details sent from trusted sources, I will pass them along!

This may be a premature question – since deals weren’t released yet- but we have our package booked and all dining reservations. Do we lose all dining reservations if we take advantage of new deals?

Hi first, I edited your comment so your email wasn’t showing! Second, you won’t lose anything if you change to a deal!

Do we think that it will be released to disney Visa card holders a few days earlier?

Lindsey, I dunno. Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren’t–the last set of deals was not released early to Disney Visa…

Here’s hoping for a great PAP deal for DVC members. I missed that last year & have my fingers crossed.

Me too, Amy!

Dave, sorry, but what is a stay/play/dine deal? Is that free dining? We had to reschedule our October visit and we missed the free dining deal…now we are now going in February so it would be awesome to get a chance at free dining again!

Shana, S/P/D is a deal where those older than ten pay the prices of those younger than ten for tix and the dining plan. For families with a couple of people or more older than ten, this can yield nice savings.

Just booked our Play, Stay and Dine for January 2014. We were able to get the discount early through my Disney Chase card. Saved $750!! compared to the current rates on their website

Yay, Katie!!!
