September is one of the least  crowded months at Walt Disney World.

On a crowd scale of 1-11, the week beginning 9/1 has a crowd rating of lower/2, and the weeks beginning 9/8, 9/15 and 9/22 have crowd ratings of lowest/1.

SEPTEMBER 2012 PRICES AT WALT DISNEY WORLD

Prices begin the month at 0-5% higher than the lowest of the year.

On September 28th, they increase at all resorts to 6% to 16% higher than the lowest of the year.

SEPTEMBER 2012 WEATHER AT WALT DISNEY WORLD

Early September weather is about as bad as Orlando gets: hot and humid, with afternoon storms common. Over the month, temperatures moderate.

The hurricane season officially begins on June 1, but the peak of the hurricane season begins in mid to late August, and continues through September until early October.

2012 dates include

  • September 2102: 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28, 30
  • October 2012: 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31
  • November 2012: 2

SEPTEMBER 2012 OPERATING HOURS AT WALT DISNEY WORLD

Park operating hours vary by the day, and sometimes change without notice. It is rare for hours to be shorter than Disney has publicized, but Disney may lengthen them in response to unanticipated crowds.

The best way to keep up with operating hours is to check Disney’s official calendars, usually available six months in advance, but changing during busy periods even the day before.
