JULY 2010 CROWDS AT WALT DISNEY WORLD

July is one of the most crowded periods at Walt Disney World.

Crowds begin very high over the 4th of July Weekend, and then moderate just a tad over the course of the month.

JULY 2010 PRICES AT WALT DISNEY WORLD

Walt Disney World resort hotel July prices begin 40% higher than the lowest of the year for Values,  25% higher for Moderates, and 20% higher at  Deluxes.

Prices tick up at bit over the 4th of July weekend, and then drop down to the level at which they began the month.

Moderate and value prices remain at this level the rest of the month.  At the deluxes, however, prices drop to the lowest level of the year beginning July 18.

JULY 2010 WEATHER AT WALT DISNEY WORLD

July weather is as hot and humid as Orlando gets, with afternoon storms common. 

While the hurricane season officially begins June 1, hurricanes are typically not material until mid-August.

JULY 2010 OPERATING HOURS AT WALT DISNEY WORLD

Park operating hours vary by the day, and sometimes change without notice.  It is rare for hours to be shorter than Disney has publicized, but Disney may lengthen them in response to unanticipated crowds.

The best way to keep up with operating hours is to check Disney’s official calendars, usually available six months in advance.
